2024 National Civics Bee Regional Competition

Bring your family and friends to cheer on KY middle school students as they compete in the 2024 National Civics Bee, an initiative organized in partnership with The Civic Trust of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The National Civics Bee is aimed at encouraging more young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities.

Women's Initiative April Connect Hour

Join us for the Women's Initiative monthly Connect Hour! This is a free networking opportunity for current Chamber members and future Chamber members. Hammons will be presented with the award during the 2023 Women’s Initiative Annual Breakfast, sponsored by PNC. Taking place Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, the event – now in its 14th year – is themed “Stronger, Wiser, Better Together,” encouraging attendees to reflect on the lessons learned during the height of the pandemic and explore why we must come together and work together as a community to reach goals collectively.
Now in its eighth year, the Women’s Initiative Regional Summit supports professional women in all stages of their careers including young professionals, mid-career and senior-level professionals and entrepreneurs. “Passing the Mic: Empowering Ourselves & Others” is the theme for this year’s event which will focus on professional development and mentorship. Each of this year’s speakers will help guide attendees through their career goals by providing the tools that they need to mentor themselves and those that will follow them.
