Since its founding, the United States has been known across the world as a society of citizens who volunteer. In many ways, that is how this country was built and Clermont County has exceptional volunteers who continue that tradition.
Now in its 30th year, the Salute to Leaders Awards has honored volunteer citizens, groups, and leaders for their contributions to the Clermont County community. These volunteers often are unsung heroes who ask for no reward or recognition and make Clermont County a better place for everyone.
The Honorees for each community are chosen by the individual township and city representatives. They are given to outstanding individuals and groups who have made a positive impact on their communities.
The Honorees in the categories for county-wide awards are nominated by the public. The winners are determined by the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Salute to Leaders event committee.
Salute to Leaders winners will be honored with a dinner and awards ceremony on March 29, 2023 at the Oasis Conference Center in Loveland.

What can we learn from the struggles of life and summiting Mount Rainier? Join Jeff Higgins in his story of Struggles to Summits. A journey that includes the loss of two immediate family members to alcohol-related car wrecks. Then, as an adult, his best friend died in a car accident... Jeff was driving. Then prison; guilt; the seemingly impossible dream of inner peace.
But the wake-up call that Jeff's challenges had already given him the tools he needed to find peace - to become a role model partner, parent, grandparent - to become a stellar community servant and the successful Clermont County business owner of Savor Seasonings, LLC. To become a successful Personal Leader!
Join us in learning from Jeff's powerful story to push us along the path to Personal Leadership because of the challenges, not in spite of them. To become an ethical, effective Personal Leader.

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15th as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15th falls, as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress
in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
For over 30 years, the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Foundation has partnered with law enforcement agencies to present the Clermont County Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet to show our thanks for the tremendously good acts performed by our police and citizens.
This special event also raises thousands of dollars for the University of Cincinnati Clermont College Law Enforcement Scholarship.
We invite you join us in this endeavor by becoming a sponsor of the event; with your support, we are able to invite officers to attend at no charge.
