ArtWorks is an award-winning Greater Cincinnati nonprofit that creates community-based public art providing career opportunities for artists of all ages. The organization collaborates with community organizations and residents, businesses, governments, foundations, and nonprofits to build creative works of art that bolster the region’s global reputation as an arts destination. ArtWorks has employed and trained over 3,500 professional artists and 4,000 youth, ages 14 – 24. We invest in our creative economy by creating jobs that support local talent, pairing professional artists to inspire and mentor diverse teams of youth, and helping them build 21st-century career-readiness skills. Over the past 26 years, this collaborative approach has created a citywide gallery with more than 14,000 public and private art projects, including more than 250 permanent outdoor murals. [read more]

The BLINK ® experience creates an outdoor awe-inspiring event that promises large-scale projection mapping, murals, and interactive light sculptures from around the globe. From its first event in 2017, BLINK’s founding team sought to nurture a sense of community and connection through public art. They came together, a collection of creatives, entrepreneurs, local artists, art enthusiasts and arts supporters, wanting to show Cincinnati what a future city could be – through an unforgettable art experience. They also wanted to show the world what Cincinnati had to offer, to solidify it as a hub of creativity, forward-thinking conversations, and aspirational ideas. Light was the medium. It is fundamental to the human experience. It connects us all. It can illuminate a path toward inclusion and possibility. What they didn’t know was how much connection it would drive. How it would light up a city, the humans within it and become a beacon of light for our city and beyond. Now in its fourth iteration, BLINK has become more than a gift to the city. It attracts artists from around the globe who believe in its mission. It attracts over 2 million people who walk the city’s blocks in wonder and amazement. It crosses a river and connects a region. Christen Collins is a Cincinnati, Ohio based artist that is on the pursuit of social practice through self-expression and art making. She is a student of life with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and was formerly an Instructor in their Community Education Department where she was always collaborating on new and engaging projects, that could be shared and explored in a variety of different ways. She is currently a grad student at Savannah College of Art and Design, studying Creative Business Leadership in hopes to open her own studio in the future. With the intention to bring more creativity to the people, she writes an art blog for Everything Cincy and loves to cultivate artist experiences for others. Her main focus is stepping more into her role as an artist, in an effort to help influence positive change and growth. Industry-led, volunteer-fueled; Cindependent Film Festival is Cincinnati’s home for independent filmmakers. Founded in 2017 by Producer and Director Allyson West, Cindependent returns for its long-awaited festival post Covid. Our team is now comprised of over 30 individuals committed to the success of a great festival. As Cincinnati's only all-genre, all-type film festival - we are dedicated to full audiences and life-changing experiences. The majority of films screen in the 556-seat Memorial Hall theater. Below in twin ballrooms are two full days of live screenplay reads from accepted screenwriters and classes by industry visionaries to ensure you leave our festival with more resources than you came in with.
