What is Fowling? It’s the Original Football Bowling Pin Game! When you’re as obsessed with bowling as you are football, how do you decide between them? You don’t—you play both at the same time. Our founder, Chris Hutt, made that discovery while tailgating with friends at the 2001 Indy 500. Soon, the mashup game had a name and a cult following. In 1963, the four Daoud brothers pulled together enough cash to purchase Hamburger Heaven in Cincinnati, Ohio. Along with burgers and fries came a recipe for Cincinnati-style chili. In 1965, they added flavor to the recipe with their secret 13-spice blend, changed the restaurant’s name to Gold Star and a chili legend was born.
